About

I am an educator, composer, instrument builder, and musician based in Brooklyn, NY. Since 2014, I have taught music technology at the Special Music School High School, a unique public school in NYC run in collaboration between the NYC Department of Education and the Kaufman Music Center. I taught composition, musicianship, and computer musicianship for many years at The Walden School, both at the flagship Young Musicians Program and their adult program, the Creative Musicians Retreat.

As a composers, I have had works performed or commissioned by groups such as Dal Niente, Yarn/Wire, Network for New Music, Argento New Music Project, The Definiens Project, Boston New Music Initiative, Areon Flutes

Since 2011, I have been building electronic instruments for improvisation, compositions, and installations. You can see more on my electronics page or in the compositions section.
